PTO (Parent Teacher Organization)

Hawthorne families held yet another successful Fun Night held on Friday, February 25. A very special thank you to Renee Citsay for all of her hard work in coordinating this event. The were several new games and activities built and organized by Michael and Michelle Hanson. There was a performing clown, the Albert Lea Police Department handing our Policemen cards, a DJ, inflatables provided by Pizza Pete from Club's Choice, a tooth fairy, "The Man with the Yellow Hat, etc.
Thank you to all the families who provided $5 to be used for all the prized for each game and activity. Also to those of you who took the time to volunteer to help us run an event. This night could not happen without the many, many volunteers that step up for this event.
Join us for our next PTO meeting which will be held on Monday evering, March14th at 6:30 in the Media center. We'd love to have you join us.

Regular meetings are held the second Monday of each month (Except for December) at 6:30 p.m. in the Media Center.

At the November 8, 2010 need was expressed for Volunteers for Hawthorne's Fun night which is presently scheduled for February 25, 2011.   If we are not able to get enough volunteers to hold this event we will have to modify the format of the evening.   If you are interested in volunteering and/or helping for Fun Night, please call the school at 379-4960 and we will direct you to the appropriate individuals.
